Simply Oxford University Tour
Simply Oxford – A Small Group Walking Tour
Looking for a more authentic way to explore Oxford? Join our Simply Oxford walking tour – designed for curious travellers who want more than just a crowd-following experience.
Unlike other tours that can have up to 50 people, we limit group size to just 12 guests. That means a more relaxed pace, easier interaction with your guide, and the chance to truly connect with the city. All tours are led by fully qualified guides who bring Oxford’s rich history and traditions to life.
- Tour starts at 2pm
- Available March to September on selected days (typically Wednesday & Saturday)
- Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
- £30 per person (+ small booking fee)

When possible, we include a visit inside one of Oxford’s historic colleges – a real highlight of the tour. Please note that this cannot be guaranteed, as Oxford is a working university and access may be restricted due to events such as exams or degree ceremonies.

Heidi was a very knowledgeable guide with an upbeat personality and good sense of humour. She customized parts of the tour based on our interests. We would have missed so many interesting things had we toured on our own. Thank you Heidi.
“Simply the best walking tour in Oxford.”
We loved the tour with Rebecca! She shared some very interesting stories about Oxford, was extremely knowledgeable and great to talk to. We left with a lot of pleasant memories and interesting anecdotes about Oxford and it’s history.
